Juneteenth is the oldest commemoration of the end of slavery in the United States. We proudly claim our heritage as The Other HBCU™ — a historically black credit union, founded April 17, 1936, by 10 educators in the the middle of the great depression.
We want to encourage our members to join in with Richmond Heritage Federal Credit Union by taking this opportunity to commemorate African American freedom and celebrate Black Culture.
We invite you to SIP with us: Share your stories of heritage, Inspire family and friends to utilize our resources, and Pay it Forward:
- Share your experience of supporting an African American business
- Inspire others to attend an event that honors Juneteenth
- Pay it forward by choosing Richmond Heritage for your loans. Your loan in turn gives individuals with only predatory lending options access to better financial resources through Richmond Heritage.
Choose our heritage to build your legacy.
Thank you for your support
